Our Swedish combined bridle Mia is our most popular dressage bridle! It is made of very good quality leather. This leather stands for very good durability and robustness in daily work. The headband has screwed rhinestones in different sizes. Significantly more durable hold of each stone. The poll piece and the noseband are softly padded and nestle perfectly against the horse's head. The noseband is overflowing, so that fewer buckles are necessary. The noseband gets narrower towards the sides to relieve additional pressure on the side nerves.

Use of the Mia bridle, Swedish combined
Similar to a Hanoverian noseband, a Swedish combined bridle offers the horse a closed mouth. When buckled correctly, the horse's mouth is kept closed by the locking strap in order to stabilize the bit in the horse's mouth. If the noseband is not pulled too tight, the horse's breathing and nerves are not affected. Unlike an English combined noseband, the Swedish version has a pulley at the back of the noseband. Swedish combined nosebands are mostly used for double bridles and dressage snaffles.
The Mia bridle is very suitable for everyday use. The stones on the browband are much more solid than on conventional bridles. The extra width of the noseband ensures perfect elegance in dressage.
