Traction Plugs

Traction plugs serve the function of filling the threaded hole in your horse's shoes when you remove your traction studs as a safety precaution. This protects the hoof from dirt, sand, and pebbles while protecting and lubricating the threaded hole. This greatly reduces the need for a cleaning tap.

Traction plugs are made of cotton in a knitted casing for easy removal. Treated with a non-toxic oil for rust prevention, they're installed with a clockwise motion and removed with a pointed object.
